Rest In Peace, Marco Simoncelli
The world was shock.
I couldn't watch the race, because I had to accompany my mom to buy stuff.
I planned to "watch" the race on twitter, by reading @MotoGP's tweets.
But my phone couldn't get signal at a certain place, so I didn't know what's going on at that moment.
Then I got a phone call from home, "Simoncelli's dead. He got accident, and it included Edwards and Rossi."
Seriously, I couldn't believe it.
I just SAW re-run of GP Philip Island two days ago, and he got third place, podium!
I was like "Wow, there you go curly (he had a big curly messy hair), you can stand at podium!"
I even laughed at his accent, because he's Italian, and when he spoke in English, it sounds funny, just like Rossi.
He's the one who bumped to other riders like Lorenzo and Pedrosa, made them injured, and he's still fine.
And now, knowing he's already passed away is like "are you kidding me?"
How come his helmet coming off in the crash??
As far as I know, rider's helmet is not easy to come off like that.
According to MotoGP representatives, Simoncelli suffered a very serious trauma to the head, to the neck and the chest." - MotoGP representatives.
A source said, without helmet, his face was dragged and hit the asphalt very hard, when medical team got to him he was unconscious. :(
He slipped, and was hit by Edwards (Edwards got injured too), and some people say Rossi hit him too. Edwards and Rossi couldn't do anything about that, it was a high speed race, and when someone suddenly cross in front of you, BAM! Accident happens.
We lost a crazy awesome rider.
My deep condolences to his family.
MotoGP won't be "fun" without you, Marco Simoncelli.
Rest In Peace.
RIP #58.
